What you are looking for are either: darwinism as a general theory or social darwinism theory. For the first I'd recommend reading On the Origin of Species, it is not that hard as you may have thought.

On the second topic, I don't really know what to recommend, but I wary you from sympathizing with some consequences of this theory. They at best are unethical. I assume you want to read for knowledge, not to fuel your racist/nazi/whatever radical ideology that justifies social darwinism as a practice.

Also look for books and works on the problems of eugenics, but again, be wary that some books may not be objective. Look for good, unbiased, critical accounts of the issue.
