Dickinson and Stevens would certainly compete for poetry. Faulkner is a good nomination for novelist though choosing just one is frustrating. Short stories you could nominate plenty of others, O'Connor and Hemingway being a couple examples. I don't feel qualified enough to make a definitive call on essayist, but I do like Emerson a lot. And Moby Dick is a good call
