There is no point reading a book written by a White person if that book is written after 1945. I am not being racist here; Whites may well create literature of value at some point in the future. But as of now, they have yet to mentally and spiritually recover from WWII.

Silly frog, while I do read a lot from late 19th century and early 20th, writers like Agatha Christie and Georges Simenon created highly enjoyable work past the mark you've given, and I'm sure there are others I can't remember at the moment.
