>tfw you didn't have an autistic yet handsome father to give you a classical education putting you far beyond your peers in every discipline

I imagine my ideal dad kind of like the guy on the cover of Stoner. He's strict and quite cold but he only wants the best.

That's one of those types of dads therapists have to hear about.

there is nothing wrong with being a pseud, or i guess a pleb is the self-aware version. Unless you are going to be a professional literary critic it does not matter

Real people don't waste money having therapists.

My grandmother gave me my Russian great-grandfather's cufflinks yesterday. :)

Nice. I got my great grandpappy's pocket watch from my grandma. She didn't think much of it, but I immediately realized that it was gold because there was 0 tarnish on the case, it looked brand new. She also gave me a bunch of old documents and newspaper clippings about my great uncle who was killed in France in WW1. I'd like to go visit his grave someday. I love heirlooms, idk why some young people don't appreciate them.

I'm sure therapists are not just figment of someone's imagination, therefore real people do visit them. What you probably meant is real men, for whom it would be an embarrassment to even talk to anyone about the void in their heart, so they try to fill it with superficial stuff.

Take solace in the fact that your kids will enjoy your passed down classics. I have my dad’s almost broken communist manifesto from the 70s and it makes me incredibly happy.

how? this is sort of how my dad is. he's not cold exactly but he's certainly not warm. used to be very strict. have nothing but respect for him.

You're only a pseud if you're an actual pseud and act like a pseud. Don't be that and you're gonna be just fine. Pseuds also read classics, but didn't do them much good.

This is so stupid. Why do people obsess over this intellectual aesthetic so much to the point that they're willing to strain themselves over completely arbitrary guidelines?

Lots of white boys from first world countries on here wanting to feel like a victim of circumstances regardless of the reality of the situation. Pseuds angry that they're not brilliant looking for any excuse as to why.

Comparing yourself to others, you will always find someone better than you
Looking at what others have, you will always find someone who has what you don't have
It's a losing game
Look at what you can do and do it

I read Shakespeare on our old family copy from the 20s which has plates of famous actors of the day like Herbert Beerbohm Tree in costume. All the Othello's are in blackface
I'm still a retard tho
