Unironically this. If I had the courage and ability to make a YouTube channel and self-publish when I was 20, I'd probably be as pretentious and snobbish as Rice and my novels would be worse. I don't think I could get more than 5k subscribers. It's amazing that he has as many viewers that he does

He's about as western as it gets, what else would he cover? I think if other philosophies get formalized there becomes no excuse to skip them but every time I try to broach the subject w someone on the oriental philosophies (only a couple times, by chance), I get told objective morality and other terms can't apply to Confucius because he's orient basically. They shoot themselves in the foot so they remain irrelevant.
