What philosophy should I read? I was going to read De Anima but Aristotle doesnt spend enough time talking things that would only affect the mind and not the body. Husserl I am trying to read but it makes no fucking sense.

Start with Plato's collected works.

>De Anima
You're approaching Aristotle wrong. Don't pick specific books of his, you'll just get confused. Instead, read his collected works cover-to-cover and don't try to understand it, just let it soak in.

But either way, start with Plato.

Yes, I have read Rules, excerpts of The World, and Meditations. Also some of his correspondences.

I have read more than enough Plato, and a lot of Aristotle but not in any order.

only read brits or americans. nothing before 1900. read books on the questions you're most interested in and of the desired level of depth.

don't listen to any of these memers. they don't learn anything from their autistic obsession with primary sources in chronological order, they're just jerking themselves off.

I want to read Husserl for information on intentionality. I thought De Anima might be relevant because it deals with the mind, but eh, not really
