It's also ploy of capitalism to increase spending; and also at the same time lowers the birthrate; which means more immigrants, which means more cheaper labour. This is what people always say, but women had "implicit power" in Israel, where it was law that a woman should marry her rapist, and in Ancient Greece, where they were essentially treated as property to be bought and sold, and in Rome, where they were categorically barred from partaking in politics, and in the Islamist states, where they must wear a ninja costume every time they go out. There's no good moral argument against abortion which doesn't rely on some sort of religious grounding. The foetus is not a human being in the philosophical sense. Moreover, abortions are usually carried out by poor, single, mostly nonwhite women who feel they can't look after their babies. Clearly this brings a eugenic benefit to society.

As he never argues that women don't deserve the vote due to intellectual or moral inferiority, he points about family could easily be "solved" by creating such a thing as family votes where adult family members have an equal say, or even just enstating a fucking matriarchy and only letting women vote.. His explanation of the difference between conservatives and liberals is also hopelessly American. Family values and nationalism are themselves just perversions of tribalism whose shape are subject to cultural change, and the attempt to create an individual/non-individual dichotomy between liberalism and conservatism falls flat, both have elements of both ideas.

Women have almost never actually been banned from work, they just weren't forced to work labor jobs until recently. And by labor jobs I mean capitalistic jobs. Idle housewives were a brief phenomenon, peasant women worked the same as peasant men, their labor was just less physically intensive due to physical limitations. High class women didn't have to work but they weren't housewives either, they had servants to do that shit for them. Women didn't start working because of feminism, they started working because of capitalism. But capitalism is also why housewives came to exist. It's weird how this post seems to think history doesn't extend back more than a few centuries, and that the culture of the recent middle class bubble is the natural and ideal state of man.
