>States are inherently fragile
It's the opposite, they're extremely robust which is why they're the dominant form of government today and crushed the only real alternative of anarchism with embarrassing ease (whether it's a far-left or far-right state, Bolsheviks vs Makhno and Franco vs Catalonia respectively, even Rojava which was circlejerked endlessly by libertarian-leftists is getting its arse kicked to the curb by the notoriously incompetent Arab armies).
Deliberately discouraging hierarchy and organisation is profoundly enfeebling and any anarchist society will immediately get snapped up by a state. The dynamic reminds me of civilisation vs hunter-gatherers in early human history in that it doesn't even have to be outright conquest, the periphery of anarchist societies on the frontier of a state will likely be absorbed through the sheer gravity and centralising tendency of developed human society, as is what happened to the HGs of Mesopotamia and Egypt. Best you can hope for is extreme localism WITHIN a state (distributism, organicism, etc).
>>17842760 is right that a civilisation state (as opposed to the current nation state) is probably the largest/most encompassing possible state that can actually remain stable, though.

Finished the Turner Diaries the other day expecting a meme and what I largely got was a pretty decent action thriller novel with the first half of the book (detailing the events leading up to what happened in the novel) basically being exactly what is happening today in America. I find Mexico's focus on creating a singular Mexican identity post-independence very fascinating. Each state has its own identity but the broader identity still exists. Surely Central/Southern American national identities can continue to exist while adopting the broader Mexican identity. Using the Church as common ground (rather than making the mistakes of oversecularization like that which led to the Cristero War) means it'd be easier than any other meme states people design.
>>17851054
I absolutely despise Latinx as a term and I will probably flip out if anyone says it in front of me. Le "skin color is the only defining trait" completely paints over the nuances of Mexican ethnicities and how there is a constant tension between local and national identities. My mother gets worked up even more, since she makes it clear she's a Northern Mexican not a Southern one. Not to mention that skin tone DOES NOT unify Latin America: my mother is often mistaken as Eastern Euro but my uncle was mocked because he was too dark to be in university. Latinx is such a retarded concept that is an example of what white women complain about, namely the "colonization" (as if colonialism wasn't based) of a non-Western culture by Western ideas. Trying to make Latino/Latina gender neutral ignores how the language operates.
