any ideas?

sorry, my english is bad

Your English is fine.

You should check out Ulysees by James Joyce, it's a bit older, but I think you'll find it pretty similar to Fight Club in many ways.

>says his English is bad
>give him a book that's challenging even for native English speakers

Ayo, a good rule of thumb is that if you like one book by an author, you should work through the rest of his works. Palahniuk is a prime example. All of his books are reminiscent of one another in theme and style.

nigga, you fo reals?

A Clockwork Orange isn't bad. Takes a while to get used to the language, but it's pretty decent. Still haven't seen the movie.

Also, "I" should be capitalized every time. Sorry that i'm nitpickiting but that grammar error annoys me so much.

>> No.1805545

nah, even though i'm a MASSIVE Kubrick fan, the movie would probably kill all enjoyment of the book.

No, I was talking about your correction of that other nigga's obviously stylistic choice to disregard capitalization. Break free of the fascist grammatical system

you shouldn't find it so upsetting, it isn't like your pointing it out will help since most of the time people eschew caps on purpose.

Whoa, what's with lit in the past days? I've seen reccomendations threads with horrible, mainstream books as this one and I haven't seen a single explicit bash. Only rational, nice recommendations.
...
You've changed lit. I don't know how to feel about that. It makes me happy. But sad.

Entry level ambivalence right there.
