How have Christian Existentialists responded to the problem of evil?

>> No.18138842

NO such thing nominally. Just grappling with particulars within the absolute. Many "evils" are just persutes of miopic or narrow goods.

All Abrahamism is for psychopaths.

In what does non-christians that argue there is "too much" evil base their morality? In order to judge God's creation you must know what a "better" world looks like, and you just have a shitty human brain that can't even think of 2 things at the same time, that has a hard time thinking just 3 or 4 chess moves ahead. The human mind can't compute all the variables and branches of causality and it's future implications, if we want to figure out what is truly "good" without God humanity will seriously need to come up with something better than science

Why don't you cry for your Jew on a stick to come save you?
>In a 1991 interview, Kuklinski recalled one of the few murders he later regretted committing:
>It was a man and he was begging, and pleading, and praying, I guess. And he was 'Please, God' and all over the place. So I told him he could have a half an hour to pray to God and if God could come down and change the circumstances, he'd have that time. But God never showed up and He never changed the circumstances and that was that. It wasn't too nice. That's one thing, I shouldn't have done that one. I shouldn't have done it that way.[5]

You are heretic scum and your cheap attempt to "discuss" and take credit from Christianity is at least 1000 years behind, almost as if in your delusion you thought your cheap refutation had any merit or at least originality

All Abrahamic religions grew purely for geopolitical purposes.
Constantine fabricated his vision of Jewsus during war.
Mohammad was a historical fiction of Rashidun to rally support from other Arabic tribes.

I am actually very religious, but I do not accept Abrahamic accounts of God. I consider your traditions trash. Christcucks, Mudslimes, and J*ws are more alike than they'd like to admit.

There are two forms of the problem of evil. The intellectual problem and the emotional problem.

The intellectual problem of evil holds that the existence of evil contradicts God's being perfectly good, all loving, and all powerful. If He is those things yet evil exists, there is a contradiction. However if you consider that it is possible for God to have sufficient moral reason for permitting suffering and evil, this contradiction fades away.

The emotional problem of evil is more common and is something like "I don't like or approve of a God that could allow suffering and evil". This objection is obviously quite facile.
