Best biography of Napoleon? I'm more interested in his character as a man rather than an account of military history, although some insights into his views on strategy wouldn't be bad. Considering Napoleon: A Life, would any anons recommend or is there something better to pick up?

The Roberts one is great. It does everything a one volume biography should do.
