Hey /lit/, wondering what you guys do with your favorite quotes. I've been copy/pasting them into a notes file for about 5-6 years now, and just have a bunch of quotes/paragraphs that I thought were insightful/helped me as a human. I'd like to display them or see them more often, since rn I only see them if I open the notes app and read them. Maybe a changing wallpaper/background?


Do you display your quotes? How do you do it so you regularly see them?

i use "the only thing we have to fear is fear itself" to ignore legitemate actual threats and so far i've actually been completely or almost completely unharmed. might get me in serious trouble some day though.

i have lots of quotes that i love in my head but most of them dont actually have any application in my life. "the only thing we have to fear is fear itself" is just one of the exceptions.

I used to write down quotes I liked in books but I realized whenever I'd look at the quotes months later I'd think it was really gay that I only took the time to write down shit I thought was "deep". Keeping a list of quotes is essentially mental masturbation, you keep a "spank bank" of WOAHDUDESODEEP shit so you can read it later and fantasize about getting to use it somewhere (you never will without seeming like a faggot)

It's like the mcdonald's version of taking notes. It's like pseudnotes or mcnotes or something.
