Huayen Buddhism is kino. But it's pretty much exit-level stuff. I don't imagine you'll have much luck on a thomist board.

Is this avatamsaka sutra based? I'm starting to read that Sutra but Alan Watts already explains it all pretty clearly and I just finished listening to his lecture on that. Generally the deeper I get into Buudhism the more it's simply tathata and dependent origination, which deletes itself into nondual suchness, which automatically sorts itself out when your interest is anuttara-samyak-sambodhi.

Funny enough Sudden style Buddhism is present in the Lotus Sutra in chp 12, which is my favorite sutra. Between tathata, buddha nature, sudden buddhahood, most high level everything is present in the Lotus. I can't recall dependant origination being explained anywhere in particular, but the deeper samadhis and meditative, as well as nondual consciousness are also present in the Lotus. I have a feeling the avatamsaka is going to thoroughly entertain me.

Also the way huineng in the Platform explains everything just confirmed my suspicion that I'm wasting my time trying to get something out of Buddhism and that I'm already done. It's a fantastic series of tales explaining any and everything mahayana.

Very well. I suppose we can count on your support during the fulfillment of kalachakra.

The Avatamsaka is so large and comprehensive that the physical book itself can be used to bludgeon enlightenment into the reader.
