Alex Bienstock started off good. felt like a parody of a vice profile from around 2011. But it was too long and got too absurd.

Racial Sensitivity Training was the best.

Area 22 was funny.

The one about the train was boring but well written.

It took me half an hour to find my own poems.
The declassified section was confusing. I read the background before I read the actual text.

I have not read it all and I don't plan to.
There have been better issues.

I don't get the &amp connection
I'm assuming the &amp guy needs to contribute at least a few pages each month to get by
I read the amazon preview for one of gardner's books out of morbid curiosity and it reads like it was written by a child
which follows that you would expect parts of &amp to read like that, but nothing in there has been close sinking to those depths yet
but then i thought the &amp gardner interview was a shitpost satire so maybe i am a fucking idiot

I wanted to like the Arda story after the nice opening sentences and urban vibes, but the dialogue sank it.

Nahma anon is better. Thought I detected ESL, but the story was nice.

What I did at University is odd.

With Racial Sensitivity Training the magazine is going recursive now? Digital flowers was a lovely touch.

Nahma anon here. Native English speaker, but I get those vibes too. There was something repetitive and a little stale in describing everything. I'm glad you liked the story. I wanted it to have myth/fable vibes.

Also, fuck jannies.

prushian design remains peak. no classifieds?

so far ive enjoyed the declarified (a common theme is nice but some of them didnt fit there) but for some reason the best ones are always the gay ones. almost moved by the sentiment of that one. balad of boston scruggs left me unshook. lizard comic was very nice even though its litteraly just the "the fall looked really bad. pandemic? tomboys? globohomo? what are you talking about? now help us conquer constantinople" meme

now ill read all the long ones

Please insult my stories (speed of ice and ai story)

Heres the stuff I liked:
leezard comic :)
racial sensitivity training
the first untitled one (favorite)
shit yourself in exotic places
the whole prophiles thing is a nice idea, but all the people were pretty xd randum or retarded

overall yall need to shorten your damn stories and stop using first person so much, i'm reading and all I can think is how many times yous repeat the word I. IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII. Also personally I want to see some non ironic interviews with no fluff I think that would be cool.

why can't they just put individual stories up on a website and people can click on the ones they like? Downloading a 9000 MB pdf to read a bunch of text is the worst

>> No.18390271

>>18386422

Hey, I did untitled 1, and thanks. The "I" thing is troublesome. I don't want my dude referring to himself in the third person non-stop, and since he does shit in the story the bet solution I could find was to not use it too often as a sentence starter.

In turn, to insult your story, maybe there's too much passive? "This idea was initially met with intense and wild skepticism" is a little weird when talking about a 2 man team. Makes the two dudes feel less distinct which spoils the twist. Mostly though, I think there's a lot of ideas like

> any question and vote the AI could present to its people devolved into one side versus the other, thus a near 50-50 result

Which are funny as shit, but need to be given some space to open up and breathe instead of just being tossed-off like that. Yes, I am telling a L&mp contributor to make his story longer.
