(How ironic, speaking of violence, that it is one of these two who encouraged Twitter followers to pick up machetes and attack me.)

No I think it definitely has, and even now I'm sure it plays a role, but given the existence of AA for 60 years I can't say I find it that plausible that it's discrimination causing the disparities at this point. Of course it still could be, one can't be sure about issues this complex and hard to measure.

One thing people dont think about enough is that discrimination will often appear specifically because there is a real difference, so it compounds the problem. If you're a member of a group who on average have x tendency you'll be unfairly judged even if you don't have it yourself.

I think this gets at the core of this whole shit and the reason why so much polemicism took place in its modern form. in irl, some of the most sjw people I know are the worst in a personal to person space. snide and self important. Ready at a moments notice to ascribe something to a vague yet miopic social phenomenon rather that treating people as people first rather than demographs. Lacking in an essential good will.

Of course, not that those wider social phenomenon's are not a thing, just that its a particular venue of things in a macroscale that is best understood with various other pieces of context rather than reduced to an insipid singularity. I actually really jive with some good "Social justice" authors who actually see this ,and try to understand how things are instead of accusing and building a partially true stawman, and usuing its partial true to sustain a bad faith narritive. Its really hard for me because I appreciate aspects of social justice movements, but it largely feels like slime whos very conceptualization is based on antithesis rather than a purer wider empathy for various parties involved. Shitty praxis for the assertation of a good, that necissarily, rather than circumstantially REQUIRES a boggyman to servive. Its not that there isnt unfairness out there, but its that the conceptualization WILL find unfairness regardless. It has its thesis already preset before engaging in the reseach or exploring differences in ontology.

And I feel people who have recognized this slimeyness, but were not introspective enough to exactly pinpoint it, went to the extreme opposite in reaction, at first in jest, and then in some regards in actuality, which is just as infuriating. In some respects CREATING the bogyman they wanted so desperately to fight. And them playing right into it. Unironically i think 95% of /pol/tards would not be poltards, and just milktoast centrist swing liberals if SJW or whatever you want to call them didnt have the subtly and nuance of a jackhammer in their decent goals. Its a fucking manifest truth.

I think I personally first felt it when I was in grade school and there was a headline "Black boy got shoot". I thought, why not just say "Boy" got shot? if later on in the investigation it might turn out to be racially motivated, fine, but its assumed a prioi its because he is black. And in a way, saying as such makes it a manifest, apodictic retroactive truth socially rather than a well founded, well rounded one. As if something in the very color was the cause and not a contextual one with a variety of factors, and a potential, main one maybe being a racial bias.
