Does anyone have any literature on the Buddhist breaking that occurred in ancient India?

The Slokavarttika/Mimamsaslokavarttika by Kumārila Bhaṭṭa

Also Nagarjuna really btfo's himself. Reading the Mūlamadhyamakakārikā has been really amusing with its misunderstandings of really very basic and obvious metaphysical and logical concepts. It's at least interesting as intellectual curiosity, which I could say they same about the rest of Mahayana stuff, reading more about Hua-Yan and Tian-tai seems like an exercise in just aestheticizing some of these Buddhist ideas with wild analogies that distract from the core issues.

This + chapter 2 of Shankara's Brahma Sutra Bhasya

and 'An Evaluation of the Vedantic Critique of Buddhism' - Gregory Darling
and 'A hindu critique of buddhist epistemology' - John Taber (I believe this may summarize stuff already covered in Bhaṭṭa)

Bonus material that is related to critiquing Buddhism but which is not exclusively focused on the historical intra-Indian debates:
Buddhist Illogic - Avi Sion
Why I Am Not A Buddhist - Evan Thompson
Emptiness Appraised - David Burton
Relation as Real : A Critique of Dharmakirti - Raghunath Ghosh
Bulssi Japbyeon (Buddha's Nonsense) - Jeong Dojeon

Was Ramanuja black? Could this possibly be why he misunderstood the Upanishads?
