I dont have a chart, but some anon in a random thread suggested this and I kinda wanna do it ngl.

>Hesse's Demian, Siddharta, Steppenwolf, Narziss and Goldmund. Then Betty Smith's A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. Read some of Chekhov's most famous stories as well. Then watch The Iceman Cometh starring Robards. That provides you with plenty of both positive and negative examples of modeled life experiences. Afterwards read Kahneman's Thinking Fast and Slow which teaches you about simple biases. Then read Stapledon's Last and First Men and Starmaker, which will provide you with an appreciation for the breadth of potential in the universe. Then read Baumeister's Willpower which is about what the title says. Then read up on the history of any region until you are familiar with the general actions of people and the flow of life in that era, which allows you to know how humans have really acted and lived in certain situations. By then you should have enough ground to start meta-cognitively evaluating yourself so you can start getting into all the pragmatic self-help bullshit and just skim the essential info about practical actions while ignoring the fluff. If you can, read Nietzsche too, but only at that stage and with some knowledge of philosophy so you don't fall into the traps he sets out for the reader.
