Anything beautiful is art. We know genuine beauty without being able to articulate it in definite terms. Most "art" recently is created merely to be co-opted by some writer or political movement, but it isn't beautiful. "Art for its own sake" is a call back to beauty. It says nothing about art being necessarily devoid of an underlying message. But even this message has been twisted by the untalented to mean "just create garbage".

I'm trying to create art that captures a parody of a future that is almost believable.

Art is so important. It guides us collectively. The art we're exposed to in 2021 feels so... satanic. Like everything is designed to feed the beast and accelerate the nose-dive.

I'm working on my shit, and if I am successful, when I'm successful, I would like to be able to show the process to /Lit/ and inspire all the other created mofos that don't believe in themselves to take that risk, to push forward, to contribute their brilliant minds to culture.
