I think it's because incels believe they can't ever get pussy, no matter how much they try, like some natural curse; OP therefor is accepting his lot, instead of becoming a Supreme Gentleman.
It's ridiculous though of course, unless you are irretrievably disfigured, have a REALLY low IQ, or are otherwise defective (I suppose this to be less than 5% of the population). It's laughably easy to get laid, especially nowadays with all the whores, but often incels let their emotions take control of them and they feed into the defeatist perspective instead of cleaning themselves up, getting fit, being educated, and getting money (i.e. living life as an individual who values themselves)—ironically this is the opposite of stoicism (which I'm sure is what you were getting at) but incels don't see life that way sadly.
