How do I fix being a writecel?

>I can't write because I'll never get published
>If I write something it'll never get published
>I read a lot but no amount of reading will ever give me talent
>A writer needs such a thing as talent
>Why even read when it doesn't matter anyways?
>Why even write when it'll never be good?

OSKAR?

I felt that way when I was younger and I pretty much regret it. I can’t tell you anything to assuage your concerns because they’re valid. I can only tell you that I once had them and still regret not writing at that time anyway.

write for pleasure and enrichment, even while treating it seriously/joblike, or don't bother. if you want to get published, if you want money and popularity then you need to become an eceleb sociopath and then publish something catered to your audience. just like you would sell any other merch to them. actually books are bad way of achieving that but it depends on your audience. otherwise what you get out of it is all on you. just like anything else you do that isn't strictly defined by immediately acquiring a 'made it' end.

I write for fun. It. .. it got me to therapy.

>"Are the pozzed publishers in the room with us now, Anon?"
>"No, Anon, trust me, someone at some point will read your paper on metaphor and philosophy; even if just by accident."
>"Why exactly do you believe that getting enjoyment from writing is a bad thing? Could it be that you're a repressed homosexual. I very much read a phallic worship in the examples you showed me."
