Search the archives of this guy’s blog: it’s a great resource for poetic knowledge. I recommend his posts on imagery (one of the posts is about all sorts of images derived from the five senses, and some images that are synaesthesic), metaphors and the different kinds of poetical language.

I've seriously wanted to start a blog of my own. Obviously I know nobody would read it, I have no delusions, but creating and maintaining a space for topics I want to explore and discuss just sounds so constructive.
So, whats the best place to set one up? Or does it not really matter. Ive always considered blogspot or wordpress, but it seems substack and medium seem much more in use these days. I like tumblr too, regardless of its meme status.
