R.C. Waldun has done it again folks! Pure orthodoxies! Flowing proses! Sir... my God sir, absolutely splendid, sir!

The part where Eddington dies of ligma is some of the most tragic and beautiful prose ever put to paper.

Sneed has read the entire thing, but there are no other confirmed scholars as far as I know. I'm probably going to finish this tonight and it has been a great ride

The book is 29 chapters long but the first 10 are more than half the book--Waldun is a genuine master of pacing and his editors did a wonderous job tightening things up and trimming the fat.

I just assumed that L'Académie was a critique of our current education system but it appears that Wally is perfectly content with modern University and is just making up a story for no reason. The Eddington Window is incredibly powerful...

How is being a writer narcissistic?

In the evening light of the street-lamp, the board seemed an alien blue. An /an/ banner decorated the top, and above it an empty space where the adblocker made its toll.

"Tom, you are insane", I broke the silence.
No one answered.
"You do not even know who this waldun guy is. Who is he? Why is he?"
I do not know. There are only waldun threads. The rest were hidden. Who hid them? Was it me? It was time to touch grass.

Waldun is a big nerd and nothing can change my mind

>> No.19006451

A decade from now academics will still be debating who got it right: Orwell or Huxley. Waldunchads will sit in the back of the lecture halls with a slight smirk on their face. They're still debating this...even after all these years? Heh. They'll get up and move slowly to the door.

As a cool wind blows through the campus they'll put their earbuds in and adjust their collar. Slyly, they'll drop a copy of L'Academie onto the ground. It's not rubbish--but it will surely be picked up...eventually.
