Does propaganda counter this problem? I fear that we are spinning our wheels in that we can win all of the arguments and still fail to influence those that are so far gone that they see the top image as a utopia. This is a fundamental problem that I see with people like Ben Shapiro and Fox News. They can be right all they want, but it does not stop them from being repugnant assholes, and their influence does not really extend past those that are already in their camps.
