I should orient myself towards a tradition. I was thinking about Hinduism. I am willing to move to India and become a hindu but where exactly should I go? How can I find an authentic guru? What do we do now, guenonbros? I need answers.

Just worship Christ bro, buddha and krishna were assigned to their individual ethnic groups bro. Make sure to read their books but stay as a christian, it allows faster development for the western mind.

If you want to be initiated into a traditional form of Hinduism then you can choose one of the forms of devotional Vaishnavism (i.e. Ramanuja’s Sri Vaishnavism, the Warkari Sampradaya or Gaudiya Vaishnavism), or you can choose one of the still surviving Shaivist/Shaktist schools which are derived from the Agamas (i.e. Veerashaivism or Sri Vidya Shaktism). All of these schools accept and are generally willingly to initiate non-Indians who have no caste. Veerashaivism, Warkari and Sri Vidya are perhaps the closet metaphysics to Advaita that you can be initiated into without being Advaita itself.

Traditional Advaita Vedanta is off limits unless you are willing to become a possessionless celibate monk for the rest of your life, and the lineage of Kashmir Shaivism no longer survives and instead you’ll only find self-promoting hucksters with slick websites claiming to provide “initiation” in it despite not being formally initiated into the lineage themselves.

Do some research and find some major temples of that sect, and then arrange to travel there or do a tour of multiple ones so you can speak to the religious officials officiating at each temple so that you can talk with them about it and ask whatever comes to mind. Some of them have emails and phone numbers listed online. Ive seen one anon post on /lit/ before that he was initiated into Sri Vidya at a temple in India, they also have a temple in rural New York state that they initiate people at, I have not been there though so I cannot personally vouch for it.

Why don't we form our own Trad group? Most mainstream religions are cucked as shit nowadays so there's no point in joining an existing tradition. Let's form an order of /lit/izens; we'll have initiation ceremonies, readings from Guenon and Evola (peace be upon them both), and ritualistic sex with the female acolytes.

An attitude I approve of. Too often people here are waxing poetic over the past. Why not create something the people of the future will see as glorious?

You haven't actually read Guenon if you think that it is worth attempting this.

How do I know you haven't read Guenon?
>Most mainstream religions are cucked as shit nowadays so there's no point in joining and existing tradition.
Firstly, Guenon does not regard eastern traditions, such as Hinduism, as religions. He regards Catholicism as a religion, and Islam as a mixture of religious and metaphysical. He also states very clearly that the eastern traditions still contain the truth, being the metaphysical principles, and this is lost in the west.
Secondly, conflating religion with tradition excludes eastern tradition, which is clearly not cucked, as it has sheltered itself from modernity. You may be confusing pseudo religions, which are modernist and sentimental to their core, such as Protestantism, and certainly cucked, with traditions. However, Protestantism is not a tradition, nor does it contain any traditional values, such as the truth.

Thirdly,
>Why don't we form our own Trad group?
This is essentially refuted as well in The Spiritist Fallacy and Theosophy, and any attempts at creating a western tradition, which is not built through an already longstanding potentially or previously existing tradition, such as the Catholic Church, will not be able to reach any metaphysical principles, as they are lost in the west.

However, as we know, Evola's ITM attempts in a way to create a method at reaching these metaphysical truths by bringing together various ancient western traditions, such as the Eleusinian mysteries and Roman rites, and so on. At the end of the day however, there is really no point in trying to create a new western tradition, as not only would it be basically impossible, barring you are one of the most gifted Brahmin to ever live, but it would also be pointless, as the current traditions are perfectly fine, and creating new initiatory rites, practices, ceremonies, and such forth is simply not possible, and they came to be after many many generations of gifted spiritual authorities.

>How can I find an authentic guru?
According to Evola you cannot because there likely aren't any left. Modernity has extincted them. The enterprise will have to be self-directed. This is very dangerous, you'll likely annihilate yourself. Good luck!
