Natural good, like strength, and natural evil, like disease, are ignored in favour of sin and holiness. Basically, blindness is less important to them than sinfulness, because they need to have their system of rewards and punishments. Blindness is something to be explained away later. But why is it related to justice in the first place?

Their small and petty human system needs to be given cosmic significance to match its hysterical self-importance, but because of that, they have "the problem of evil," which is that force that created blindness is now very interested in whether you are a glutton or not, and is supposed to have a consistent desire for justice.
