Underrated. Haven’t done it in so long now though. Hard to get ahold of. Had to order in from the continent.

I tried it and don't like it. I prefer cbd weed smoked with a cup of coffee. And at high dose it has the same negative as other opiates, a mediocre boring high then a fun session of puking.

Not to be that person, but allegedly there isn’t any real difference between red/white/green aside from the red being left to ferment for a bit and the white being more stems or something like that. It’s the same plant and mix of compounds.

Quick rundown on modafinil? Is it stronger than caffeine? Google search makes it sound amazing, like meth without the side effects the devastating side effects but it sounds too good to be true.

How much kratom is good for reading? I took 10 capsules last night and got nauseous for hours

>> No.19384173

>>19384155
It’s a sensitive drug. The consensus seems to be little amounts for energy and larger amounts for euphoria. Too much feels bad though. I used to shoot dope though ~10 years ago so my “painkiller” tolerance may be all messed up. Kratom isn’t for everyone, it’s not so much a high, as it is a mood enhancer. Experiment and remember that you can always take more but never less.

Coffee, Adderall or Methamphetamine, in order of strength. Keep in mind, the stronger chemical you get, only the volume with which you read or write increases. How much of what you retain what you've read or the actual quality of your writing varies wildly. I've spent days writing on meth and gone back sober to find I'd basically just shat out a borderline incomprehensible 120 page schizopost with very little worth salvaging. Make of it what you will.

Depends on your tolerance, but I take 2 grams with my morning coffee, 2 grams with protein shake after workout and 4 grams with tea for reading. If it’s a strong batch then even 4g make me nauseous sometimes, but usually it’s just very relaxed opiod sedation, perfect for reading. Too much kratom at once is awful, feels like you’re going to puke and pass out at the same time.

moderate doses of caffeine and B vitamins. anything else is too detrimental in the long-run to take consistently or has no benefit for reading therefore isn't useful.

Having eaten a healthy diet for at least the preceding 2 weeks

In crude terms it's halfway between caffeine and adderall. Also you may have heard something like, "the worst side effect is it makes your pee smell!" This is no joke; if you have ever adhered to the philosophy in which yellow is permitted to mellow, it must cease immediately upon beginning regular modafinil use.

based logical dietchad. you are what you eat. until i started doing muay thai i didn't realize how big of a difference diet makes in my performance. i played baseball as a kid but i guess as a kid you tend to have infinite energy anyways.
when you're vegetative and sedentary all day you may not think you need the energy but you do. your brain doesn't function like it should when you're sedentary and eating poor food.
i don't eat no-carb, but i eat low-carb. breakfast of fruit and toast, then lean meat lots of protein and vegetables throughout the day.
my ability to focus is incomparable to before I became active and changed my diet, which before was largely junk food (for example there were days where i wouldn't eat breakfast, wouldn't eat lunch, ate a bag of potato chips as supplement then ate a dinner of fried chicken or some shit; far from ideal)
also drink more water if you're not already. everything your body does needs water to function, including your brain.
caffeine and vitamins are the best supplements in my opinion as they make minimal change to your status-quo, your regular maintenance. your end goal should be to be able to focus for as long as you need/want without needing anything to do so. if you start to use supplements as a crutch you're changing what your regular maintenance requires, thusly making your abilities to focus WORSE in general and only better when you have your 'supplement'. even caffeine is abused dramatically.

I did Modafinil for two years and it's fucking awful. It makes you feel good for exactly one and a half hours--euphoric and energetic and very interested in whatever you're doing. Then it's like you have a dopamine crash and feel horrifically depressed, emotionless, exhausted, and bored, but the wakefulness properties of the drug are still active so you can't fall asleep and you're basically trapped doing whatever you were doing for the next twelve hours while hating every second of it. Then you feel like shit for the next three days.

Awful, awful drug. I think it was invented for fighter pilots and considering it makes you an emotionless zombie unable to tear away from a singular task, that's literally the only thing it's appropriate for.

it's important to note that consistency is important. i think a big reason people tend to turn to supplements is because of the drastic and fast-acting immediate effects.
a healthy diet and lifestyle is a gradual effect. humans are creatures of habit; we adapt relatively quickly compared to other mammals but not immediately. a pill is a sort of way to brute-force those gradual effects and send your body into overdrive, but it's temporary and the effect always rebounds
with proper dieting, there is no rebound. it takes two, three weeks, a month even to build yourself up to the desired effect but once you're there you stay there for as long as you remain healthy, which you should. it doesn't take effort to maintain said lifestyle either, the effort comes from making the changes to begin with because as previously noted humans are creatures of habits and you have to first overcome your previous habits to reshape them into new ones.
the easiest thing anyone can do to make their life better in every way? cut out processed sugar as much as you can, entirely if possible. you get plenty of natural sugars in a balanced diet, processed sugar is akin to a poison after that point.
another easy way to improve your brain function is SLEEP. doesn't really matter when you're sleeping, what matters is the quality of the sleep. i don't claim to be an expert on the biomechanics of sleeping, but i do know that your brain needs it and you will not function to the same levels without it. uninterrupted, deep rest makes all the difference in the world. i'd suggest reading some studies on sleep and bodily performance if you doubt how important it is.

Sleep, diet, water and exercise obviously help the most. Lions mane, nicotine lozenges, caffeine and small amounts of raw gingers all are good for on the spot focus.
