But what do you get out of reading multiple books that all presumably just describe his life? Do you find that they say the same things? Do they ever contradict each other? What can you tell me about the world of Pablo Escobar biographies, does it seem seedy? Like much lying happens amongst shady authors? Does it seem sincere, do his biographers love or hate him? or both?

I get different perspectives from his life. No, people don't say the same things, although mostly they describe him as kind and nice but cruel and violent. Sometimes they do contradict each other, but I think it's okay I mean unless you're Escobar you can't really tell the truth. It does seem sincere to me and biographers usually take a neutral approach to telling the story except his son and wife. His wife thinks he's a psychopath but his son thinks he was a great parent.
