I want to be less affected by emotions, stress and fear, and have more concentrations. What kind of meditation can I do to achieve it?

Lift weights, do cardio, sauna, do yoga, go outside and hunt and fish.

I do work out. I can't do the other stuff you say because I work a lot every day. I plan on retiring in a few months.
But I'm not just talking about stress relief. There are times in my life when I found myself losing control of my emotions a lot, like my amygdala was seething. I don't like it when it happens, and I would like to improve it

Find a Buddhist centre near you and go to their guided meditations. Meditation is like a muscle, and you learn by doing.

I'd rather do it on my own if possible.
I agree that I learn by doing, can you reccomend me or give ne a guide of something I should do on my own?

I believe the left side of this chart is exactly what you’re looking for.
I also recommend “A path with heart” by Jack Cornfield, for a little more background info and a relaxed approach.
