Most people don't want to rebel and will tell themselves "that's just the way it is" even when their conditions get unreasonably worse and when their "owners" live an overtly privileged lifestyle. So no, the average person is not rebellious. The average person's weakness is really just how easily they are manipulated into playing and replicating their owners' game. They unironically assume the same desire for riches, social hierarchy and sexual degeneracy and are easily controlled by any means that target these desires. The easiest way to manipulate the average person is to make them feel like they are a part of the club and that they are ever so close to making it big.
