>Dat feel when you buy the new Animorphs reprint
>Dat feel again when you notice they retconned a minor plothole out of existence
OH MY GOD, THERE'S JIZZ EVERYWHERE

>> No.2035211

Which plothole?

>> No.2035221

>>2035211
probably the famous "thought-speech works when demorphe-oops no it doesn't~" one.

...Gotta say, the altered cover art is making my inner child throw a temper tantrum. I loved those transformation sequences on the covers.

>> No.2035242

Are they actually reprinting the entire series?

All I've heard so far is the first 6 books.

>> No.2035301

Dude they changed some of the corny 90s pop culture references too

>> No.2035313

I hate these 90s book reprints. They're changing the actual content of the books - not just plotholes but content. I used to be addicted to the Babysitter's Club so I bought the reprint of the first issue and it's ridiculous how they 'updated' the technology and dialogue. What? What? Would a reprint of A Tale of Two Cities do away with the guillotine? Would a reprint of We Have Always Lived in the Castle have cell phones and internet instead of letters and no phones? C'mon now.

false analogy. you should know better.

How so? Just because a book is in a series doesn't mean you should update it when you reprint it. Would "having Nancy Drew Google it" feel better for you?

I know that feel. I have the whole original collection (minus like 5 or 6 books), though, so I couldn't resist buying it. Best 8 bucks I ever spent.
>>2035301
You're right, my bad. It is only the first 6.
>>2035313
>thread gets bumped even though I made it half a day ago
*squee*
That's a pretty legitimate point, actually.

Btw, I tried starting a thread on >>>/co/ but they don't seem to be taking the bait ;_;

>> No.2035748

>>2035221
Yeah, that one.

>> No.2035758

I actually never ready any of them. I always wanted too in middle school but for some reason never did. Are they any good for someone out of college or are they really only appeal to younger audience?

>> No.2035811 [DELETED]

While not about gay/lesbian I've heard Luna is pretty good. It's about a transgender brother and his sister have to hide his secret.

/co/ had a decent Animorphs thread the other night. Might want to wait a few hours and try again.

animorphs are fun
