that's what I'm saying. Fascism is a tendency and not politics. It's political movements all died. Fascism isn't Nazism. It's dealing with political freedom, our-own-freedom (self) and many different frustrations and civil and social difficulties in way no particular ideology like communism or neo liberal democracy or nazism or authoritarian state capitalism nor more basic orientation like authoritarian, libertarian, progressive, collectivist etc. could ever do.
It is entirely modern in that sense. Totalitarianism is only what grounds it. Fascism is lost when it becomes political. It is absurd. I've talked about this on here before. Fascism is revolutionary yet reactionary, socialist yet capitalist, collectivist yet seeks through that realization of the individual, uses the individual as exemplary. Fascism is everywhere but there is no fascist policy just as there isn't an authoritarian or liberal or whatever ideology. Using those terms for ideology is reductionist more so than using a compound naturalist term.
