If I remember rightly, verbal IQ tests were basically vocabulary tests. I have a score above yours and a working memory better than that of most math prodigies, and I think the working memory is far more helpful in writing metered poetry. In writing “poetry” (as well as prose) in the style currently popular, I think verbal IQ is probably most important. If you want to write in meter, though, working memory can be improved, or at least I’ve heard so—likely bullshit, but worth a try.
