How are the VSI series? I was thinking of purchasing a few, especially the one on literary theory.

I have about 5 of them. I've enjoyed them generally. They do their job well.
I did have a problem with one on 'Art Theory' (I think that's what it was called, I don't have it at hand to check) which had a slightly cuntish, self-righteous guy writing it. Sometimes I hear that they get writers who can't keep their bias towards some subjects in their panties.
I've heard there has been similar problems with other books in the range.

But from my experiences, theyre not so terrible, and as I said I've enjoyed them.
