So I like to write a little bit, I've done stints in rehabs and blah blah blah....but whenever I set off on what I feel is a great idea I hit a bump and lose interest. Any hints/tricks to keeping yourself motivated to write?

the trick is overriding your internal editor -- tell the impulse that says to stop and fix stuff to shut the fuck up and get out as much as you can at a time

then take a little bit and go back and revise to your heart's content
