Hey /lit/ over half way through with my current book. Which of these books should I read next?

>> No.2631780

It's a tie between Eragon and Don Quixote, which are both really great books.

oops wrong picture should be this one

>> No.2631793

Don Quixote, then The Three Musketeers, then Treasure Island.

Read those classics, and fuck off.

Make your own decisions in life.

The Three Musketeers or Don Quixote.

The cover art on that Mars Trilogy book has intrigued me.

>> No.2631800

Quixote. Ignore most of the rest of those.

>> No.2631803

Ha! I'm halfway through volume 1 of that same copy of Don Quixote and now listen carefully....everyone tells me it's the worst translation, and I suspect they're right, so find a different translation, the one by a lady whose name I forget of course

also read that cool dwarf war book

I told you last time mate, there's only one Mars Trilogy.

>> No.2631812

That depends on one question: do the dwarves in that dwarf book sing songs of gold?

>> No.2631824

>>2631793
these, I'd recommend Deadhouse Gates but with Malazan it's best to begin at the start.

>> No.2631830

>>2631805

That looks good bro.

>> No.2631831

treasure island

>> No.2631854

COMEDY GOLD

>> No.2631892

hrmm seems like don Quixote is favorite here. So i guess i'll read that next
>>2631793
The first John Carter of mars book was written only 20 years after Treasure Island, I would consider it a classic.
>>2631805
and i told you last time ill look into them, have the wiki paged bookmarked so i wont forget about them.

It's painful to see /lit/ still upset that people actually value our opinion enough to suggest some books

>> No.2631921

>>2631900
Yes, but it's fucking annoying when these threads clog up at least 2-3 threads on Page 0 when there's no actual discussion of literature in them, which is the purpose of /lit/.

He's already bought the books, so he's interested in them. So why can't he just pick from one of them, at least on a whim?

>> No.2631922

>>2631778
Based off this:
>1.Mars Trilogy
>2.Don Quiote
>3.Three Musketeers

>> No.2631932

THREE MUSKETEERS FIRST

You won't regret it OP, I promise you

>> No.2631936

>Discussion of literature
>On /lit/
Please, pick one.

OP is asking us because he values a bunch of anons opinions. You should feel happy, not act like a faggot

>> No.2631951

Don Quixote definitely, it's a masterpiece.

I really liked Everything's Eventual. The first story of the book is great, and don't get me started on the silent assassin haha. I would recommend it next.

Eragon isn't serious literature but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it in high school. It's a fun read with an engaging plot.

>> No.2631972

I'd read Treasure Island next.
But I'm not you.

>> No.2632003

you should put them all in a bag, shake it and pick random. it will be the right book. even if it's boring.

>> No.2632346

Princess of mars is like a one sitting thing just do it.

>> No.2632351

OP you should absolutely read eragon next. absolutely the pinnacle of modern fantasy fic. Do it OP, its great!

LOL, FAGGOT

>> No.2632361

So, just how many dragon dildos do you know OP?

>> No.2633685

>>2631824
i read the first three books and they are so boring. worst fantasy series I have read. except for gruppe or what ever his name is, boring series.
I suggest the name of the wind. great book.
