Alright /lit/ im looking for books that have death as a primary character. I mean death as in good ol' bones 'n' cape, the grim reaper. Modern setting works but anything will do. Im in a 'folklore is real' mood ever since reading american gods. Anyone got any suggestions?

You could just read them. You can probably google the titles with "epub" or "mobi" and have a read of an ebook if you want.
