In March of last year, while riding the subway home from work, I noticed scraps of paper stuffed into the metal bins where the schedules are supposed to go. The scraps were covered with scrawly writing of many colors. So I took one out and looked at it.

I think you can see what the note was about. What you can't see here is that specific biblical verses were written on it also.There was another note at the other end of the car, and I took that one too. I brought them home in my bag and read them. I wondered what the verses named were about, if they were legit, and so I put them in my pocket to take to work the next day to look them up. But it rained, and since the writing that had the verses was in ballpoint pen instead of marker like the rest, it got wet and was washed away. I had lost the chance to look up the specific verses, but still had the gist of the message. This was March of last year.
So here it is another March, and Lo, Behold I saw more notes. I took them, and now I have them. And so I'm sharing them with you.
Pic is the first one I found, will post scans of the others, ending with what I found last week.
I live in Philadelphia, and my middle name is David, which is only interesting if you check out Revelations 3 -6&7.

here's the front of last years other notice. they even write the date on it, and it has the water stain which reminds me I got it last year. I didn't know it was also in March until I saw the date on it.
Is this person doing this every March?

They seem like cool "found" objects, but I doubt /lit/ will give you much insight. Aren't they your own mad scribblings posted here with some not-very-strange story about finding them in the garbage? Perhaps there's a priest who rides the same train and scratches out sermons while he waits. I dunno. They look cool, though.

I type my own mad scribblings. These I found, and am posting them because I thought they were cool, and writing. Not really looking for insight, just sharing. But I guess if a discussion spark were needed, it could be the question:
Is this person a writer? They're writing what's going on in their head, and are publishing it in their own way, aren't they?

If this person were to be "cured"....do you think they would still write? If they had more....I don't know maybe "clarity" is the word...if they had more clarity but still had these ideas in their head, would the writing have the same impact?
Do you think any successful authors felt the same way as this person, that they have a message they need to tell the world, with the same amount of intensity? How does this person compare to actual, published authors?

OP here. I hope I get to see this person one day. What if they "seem totally normal"? Should I talk with them? What should I say?
When i pick them up, people look at me like I'm the crazy one...tried to be inconspicuous but it's hard not to be obvious, picking them up and shoving them in my bag maybe they think I'm the crazy one.

OK, a story about a guy who finds these notes, ponders over them (scene of him talking with his gf about them but she just says poo poo and wash your hands, and another scene where his boss finds them and thinks he's been writing them)....and...and...they're very well written prophecies, better than the guy who finds them can write...because he always wanted to be a writer but sucks at it....and when he finds the person who is writing them he befriends them....and then ???? somehow he gets them published....and the books becomes a bestseller and the prophet gets all dressed up and goes on a book signing tour where they can't keep him from proselytizing...and he's mad no one is taking him seriously (comic relief here)....and maybe the press thinks it's all an act...and then the world ends.

on the market frankford line on thursday the 7th. I didn't know it was a March thing until I looked at the ones from last year and saw 3/12 written on one and remembered that's when I found them last time. I had been looking for them ever since but forgot about them until I was coming home early on Thursday and saw some. Maybe the fact that it wasn't rush hour like when I usually ride has something to do with it. I was in the front car but found them in another car last year. I look often now. I also note that they're always on a piece of folded over paper somehow sealed closed like they folded it over and glued it....it's not a half piece of paper. I don't ride the broad street line so maybe they're there too.
