Can lust 'lie primordial' ?

I need to know this, its important, Im on the last few pages of my History Book and NEED to know if this is correct grammatically for the publish, I could lose my job.

"lie primordially" might be more proper but it's awkward and "lie primordial" isn't grammatically incorrect as far as I know
depending on where it is in the sentence you could write "lie, primordial" if that makes sense?
someone with a better command of grammar might be of more use however

Poetic license. Using adjectives as if they were adverbs sounds cool.

That said, some adverbs remain the same: "to play hard, to run fast."
