Take a picture of your oldest book.

Pic related, Aeneidos by P. Vergili Maronis. Publication date unknown. Printed entirely in Latin.

Eh, I have a 1929 'Pierre or The Ambiguities.' Not very old, but I had to cut the pages when I read it for the first time.

Don't have a camera right now, we have quite a few older books in our family library and I don't know which one really is the oldest. I looked for about 5 minutes and found a book of Danish psalms from 1901.

I'm considering calling up a local rare bookstore to see if they want to take a look at it. I'm just worried about the condition. I bought it years ago at a thrift store in a small town for $25.

Here you go.

I don't know when exactly this one was made, but it's by a company called Greycaine publishing, if anyone on here could tell me about them I would be pleased greatly.

Bought this one in an Oxfam in Duhram for about £2.50, it's a lovely edition but the spine is a little damaged but still completely readable.

This is the first edition in spanish of the Mutual Aid. I'm not so sure about the year, but it's obviously from the early years of the 1900s when anarchism was pretty popular here in Chile and Argentina.

I've got several old books.
My oldest one is probably a brevarium from the 16th century.
This book, however, remains my personal favorite. It's a dictionary of "unusual" French words. It's dated 1760.

I also have a book about Roman History, dated 1730.

My grandparents bought a presbytery during their younger days. It contained hundreds of old books, hence why I also own lots of religious books from the 16th century to the beginning of the 20th century.
Since I am the only one who's into books in this whole family (I also study History), my grandparents give me a box of books every year. They come in slowly but surely.

I'm a bit lazy right now, I'm posting some old pics. I don't have them all with me right now since I lack of space right now.

And my bad, it's not 1760 but 1755.

"Poetry of the People" 1904 by C.M. Gayley and Martin C. Flaherty.

Published by Ginn and Company, an old textbook manufacturer.

Really fun little book, original owner's name was on the inside, lots of great transcendentalist poetry, as well as a ton of English, Irish, and Scottish poems.

Got it at a local thrift for something like $2.50
