What is /lit/'s opinion on /pol/?

It mostly seems like a lowbrow, tin-foil hat wearing batshit crazy version of /lit/.

Discussing the culture of a board isn't too out of place.

>>6769261
Alot of discussions on here pertains to the things they talk about.
For example /pol/ has a large libertarian leaning. There is a thread on the front page of /lit/ right now with 180+ replies discussing Atlas Shrugged.
They usually hate leftists or left-leaning views. On /lit/ revolutionary rhetoric, class struggle, labor and production, etc get discussed on here alot.
I'm sure there are many more similarities, these are just two that come to mind immediately.

Just add some fascism, nationalism, and some hardcore xenophobia and you get a bizarro /lit/

The population there seems to include some of the dumbest denizens of 4chan; only /r9k/ can compete with their idiocy. They had a thread a while back about "technocracy" where everyone in the thread thought that meant a robot dominated society as opposed to what it actually means, namely a society ruled by technocrats; it took some 100 or so replies before someone finally interjected and corrected them.

This is the opinion of a traditionalist too; I imagine the leftist here have their reasons as well that go beyond just criticizing their intelligence levels.

I care truly 0 about what they do.

I also don't buy into this "gbt pol" boogyman. maybe I am ignorant in this regard; however, the one time pol was truly shut down and some of its posters came here, they made some threads they clearly marked as "pol" and stuck to them. The general posting patterns during this time in the rest of /lit/ i did not notice change whatsoever besides the people complaining about pol.

I really don't care about them, but my god i wish the people who complain about them would just die.

Fair enough; however, the only distinction I would make is that academic libtard right seem to be more for free speech while academic social left are less for it.
The plebeians in the street are all compromising hypocrites who would happily go full totalitarian for their own feelings/beliefs if they could.

This is my own first hand experience talking though, and I will freely admit that.

Tumblr is to the farthest left, /lit/ is towards the middle and /pol/ is on the far right. /lit/, unlike tumblr and /pol/, do not contain as many fanatics; and with fanaticism comes the large quantities of "autists" of whom obsess over the subject and generally act autistic about it.

Polarized areas and /lit/ sits just on the equator, which makes it so comfy.
