Really wish people would stop using /lit/ as their blog

I know. Just the other day I was reading this post on /lit/--you know, I was travelling back to my uni since it starts up on Tuesday so I had a lot of the time in the car to be on 4chan--and I saw a person talking about their lives so personally and intimately on here in that conversation thread. Pretty strange if you ask me since the people around me never talk or speak like that, especially my sister; we have an estranged relationship. Used to be friends, but now... it's hard man you know.

Sometimes I think I use books to fill in the gaps of endless emptiness in my life. Something to breathe fresh new invigorating ideas into me as a sort of inspiration. /lit/ helped me on that journey, but it really disappoints me when people don't take it seriously and post these odd details about their uninteresting, insipid lives. If I wanted to hear about that, I'd ask a Starbucks barista about her day, you know? Fuck man.
