What does /lit/ think about the Millennium series?
I'm halfway through the second book, the first one is fine (if you can put up the default Swedish cuckery) but the second book seems like garbage, I don't really know if I will be able to finish it
My English is shit and I can't express myself so well while using it, sorry for eye cancer I may have caused

I really liked the first one, more so because of the setting and the Vanger family

I wasn't really interested in Lisbeth so I quit reading about a fourth through the 2nd one

Please get the fuck out and take your garbage with you. There are plenty of other communities ready and willing to discuss this.

/lit/ loves to hate on these books for some reason, but I really enjoyed the first one. I'd like to read the others at some point, but like >>7905981, I didn't find Lisbeth to be a very interesting character so I'm not sure I ever will.

>for some reason
Because it's basically airport fiction. If you're going to talk about books on 4chan they better be unique in some discernible way.

While I certainly wouldn't consider the series worthy of ranking among typical /lit/ choices, it's undeniably miles above airport fiction. I've read airport fiction. I've read Dan Brown. Larsson deserves more respect than that.

If anything you're severely overestimating airport fiction.

These are my exact thoughts. Also liked the economic investigation at the beginning. Read the first one for fun, don't bother with the rest.
