I don't do that. I usually read what ever one sounds most interesting to me first. then if I liked it continue to read any of their other work and if I didn't like it, then I red the magnum to see what all the hubbub is about, then if I don't like that I stop reading them, BUT if I did like the magnum I go back and read the seccond most interesting sounding book AND if I didn't like that then I go back and find the seccond most famous book and read that to see what all the hubbub is about but if I did like that book before the last seccond most magnum book I read what ever I want from them but back to the seccond magnum book IF I did like that book I continue to read the 3rd most interesting sounding book BUT IF I don't like that book I just give up or repeat steps 1-6 until I've read all the authors books at which point I pass judgement and only once I've read them all do I stop to think Wether or not I really enjoyed what I read or if I just read it to see what all the hubbub was about. how bout you guys?

This.

I read Salambo and loved it. May or may nor read Madame Bovary but I don't have any interest in the story.
