How edgy.

No one here hates anyone else. They just pretend to because it happened to them when they were new. We actually all love each other as brothers, as we are all who accepts us.
We're all just children on the playground, is all.

Rommy and Jules, by Billy Shakes
Very much so. I love Shakespeare. I'll bet the board hates him, though, because he's so "overrated" and such.

About 3. 6 on weekends. I'd read more, but I live a busy life.
About 6 books a month. I'm also a pretty slow reader. Intentionally, of course. It's more enjoyable that way.

I like enchanting people with stories. Their faces as they read my short stories is all I need to keep on. Children, especially.

All those books you named? Superior to it, in my opinion.
>especially from a literary perspective
Oh, I see. You're one of THOSE.

I didn't finish reading this book when I picked it up. Holden is a whiny, spoiled hypocrite(hating "phonies" while clearly acting as one, as he describes it, himself). Also, I absolutely loathe authors who feel they can't portray an edgy teenage character without making him swear up a storm.
I honestly didn't know there was a plot to be resolved. It doesn't really surprise me that it's ending doesn't.

Yes, it's a brilliant book. C.S. Lewis is, in my opinion, a genius. He's probably one of my favorite authors.

I get the feeling you're either saying that apologetics is nonsense or that Lewis was absurd, even from an apologetics point of view. I disagree on both points.

>Best thing Lewis ever wrote.
Brilliant book it is. But I hardly think it's his best work.

This, also
Alice in Wonderland and The Princess Bride. Used to adore fantasy romances, especially Ruriterian.
And yes of course.

Bloody Sunday - Sinful Seventh Day
Druid - Grin-guys
Genies is good, but I think U-Genes would be closer to a nickname real people in those situations would come up with. It's also way funnier.

We're all a little mad.
Also, there's a bunch of ,very hard to decipher, metaphors about:
growing up
the dangers of the adult world
sex
losing innocence
regaining innocence
sex
why it's horrible to grow up
sex
why it's awesome to grow up
sex
the idiocies of aristocrats
the idiocies of bureaucrats
the idiocies of children
why children's idiocies are more than an adult's
and sex
Yes, they're all in there. For real. Dogs Son was insane.

This, really.
But I've considered giving Katawa Shoujo(spellcheck on that) a try, based on what I've read and seen about it's story(grammar check that whole sentence).

I disagree. I found Hannibal Rising to be quite enjoyable.

Many don't like his stories. He has odd sarcastic humor, quirky upbeat characters whose personalities don't exist in real life, villains who almost always have a God complex, and prose that constantly switches from purple to bland.
Personally, I love him. His style of writing is pretty much the anti-Stephen King(who I also enjoy), in spite of having similar story ideas.

John Dies At the End
I usually don't appreciate middle school humor, but this has a weird charm to it.
