I entirely agree that users should take more responsibility but a great deal of these threads are from crossposters.

I have emailed moot many times and I report threads on a regular basis so don't claim I don't contribute or at least try to clean up the dishes, buttercunt.

But my efforts have little impact.

It takes the mods to make a real change.

Exactly. Generals are shit.

Any thread that isn't discussing literature, critiquing users works, discussing an author's works or upcoming releases should be deleted.

Philosophy threads should discuss certain works, writers or fields not pseudo garbage that clogs this place up every week with question.

>Pseudo-intellectual /tv/, /r9k/ and /pol/ crossposter philosophy questions like "What is the purpose to life?" should be posted every week on a literature board

Neither should be posted unless discussing a certain author or a piece of writing.

Cancer.

True but it just requires some stability and after that step better content will thrive.

Only camera I've got is my blackberry and it can't get sharp enough to make out words well, but here is an excerpt from the prologue:

"...only now do you realize that your being is comprised of things other than the overwhelming vibration. Sound is only energy making its autonomous way through matter. Energy and matter. You remember yourself. You possess matter. Your matter is full of energy. Somewhere in the farthest edge of your mind there is a command. A command your energy used to control your matter. Your mind is the master of your body, you are only now remembering all of these things. No, not remembering, you have never forgotten, you just haven’t bothered to think of any of this. Or perhaps you were meant not to..."

It's mainly about an after-death experience of a buddhist monk who committed suicide as part of a protest of a war in near-future asia. He is put through trials linked to all the errors he made in his life, which are embodied by shadowy hounds and other beasts. Without giving away too much, there's a much more important issue that the protagonist doesn't discover until later in the story. It's entirely from a first-person perspective.

I don't think self-published books get listed on amazon, and I've already said that the book does not list the word "twank" repeatedly.

You guys must be poor.
It must suck to not be able to blow 450 dollars on books when you love books so much.
Since you're too poor for books you probably just spend all day on 4chan talking about books instead of actually reading books.

You probably don't even know how to read.
