the story depicts this bloke who exits prison upon being wrongly convicted of setting fire to some writer's house. he finds his home life in turmoil when his wife is getting off with his neighbour. suddenly more writer's homes begin to burn down. our hero must journey through out this northern province in the U.S. to try to stop these fires. it is funny but quite down once the ending occurs. here is the cover for you to enjoy. I recommend it.

a bit of ending fatigue

also the lines like

>Gotta get off this boat
Coz it’s sinking like lead.

are pretty weak. but not bad I guess

for a private library that's pretty big, for a public library that's pretty small

number 2 is the best BY FAR. wizard murder mystery = awesome.

I got the audiobooks read by Stephen fry recently and listened through the deathly hallows one. man that shit is depressing. it's basically 700 pages of Harry Potter staving off suicide while Rowling kills of half the supporting cast to create slap-dash drama.

considering I saw this years ago, but it said 'sup /b/' back then, I think it's safe to say this is photoshopped

as much as I liked it, it's not a literary great, more of a historical great. it's more like, pre-industrial age war-waging for dummies

reading literature
and being literate

are two very different things. I too find today's lack of reading books disturbing

my favourite biographical book. there's a very very good film by spike lee, that draws a lot of passages from and cites a lot of Malcolm's autobiography. Denzel Washignton plays Malcom excellently.

in mine I like to write down conversations of strangers, (as long as they're not boring)
thoughts and feelings.
the times and dates.
things I find out about history.
short stories.
