don't worry about it, I tend to dawdle often enough myself when doing TAR work so it is no big deal. We'll get a chance to talk tomorrow, if you can make it

Don't mind my bump. Happy commercialized holiday helping give you diabetes, /lit/ (;_;)

before the 24th is preferable

>>3469093
the threads usually vary dependent on how much criticism pieces receive. It's been like that since the beginning, and we can't really control it

Thanks to everyone who has submitted content so far!

well. We'll only know what we'll say when we read it

similar feelings about the first piece (I don't know how many times we've got this hedonist existentialism plot rehashed over and over), but it was well written. And hey, the same goes for thoughts on the second piece as well. That purple prose was so bad I nearly stopped reading initially, but it did clear up after suitably. The ending was kind of a "wat" moment

Glad you mentioned this about the font formatting. I'll check in with our compiler about this

Good to hear! We always could use with some more content

we try to decide on what to include around the 24th. If you can make it by then, you'll have a better chance at getting in.

We always make exceptions, of course.

funny actually, seemed to me like the cyberpunk piece was a bit gimmicky and came off showing signs of a novice. The exaggerated profanity, quick scene jumps etc. The premise was good but the execution was rough. Regarding poems, most of these I felt were reasonably solid.

I felt like our use of photography during the issue was poor, however. We overused them and it contrasted poorly with typographic formatting. Otherwise, I can't quite see what people are complaining about

>>3467323
the most we can do is reject you. We plan on trying to give more comprehensive criticism as well so you might even learn something. I wouldn't worry too much

pfft. the locals are peaceful, I assure you. Actually, it'd be pretty fun to start making more efforts to get in touch with the "zine" crowd one of these days. Bah! What did you think of our latest issue, by the way?

This is starting to resemble the conversations I would have with gamergirl. Nostalgia. (S)he wasn't even that bad in retrospect

previously published work is fine, we have no problems with this sort of thing as long as the work is acceptable.

I mean really. Refusing to accept shared content doesn't make much sense on the internet. It'd be like refusing to accept manufactured books because they aren't the original draft.

Yeah. We should really buy ourselves a new domain one of these days

Submitting to TAR this month, /lit/?

do you have an email? I really can't stay for long, but I'm sure if I sent out an email you'd probably get 6-10 poets minimum

>> No.3407616 [View]

This is pretty much the point of TAR anyways. If you want OP, our resources are at your disposal

Might even be able to rustle up some poets to get this thing moving as well if you're interested

>>3367611
If we were, we'd have published the content instead of offering you it. Take it or leave it

>>3367614
Yeah sure. We used to receive joke submissions from who I'm assuming was Tao Lin all the time

>> No.3367604 [View]

I can't tell if you're serious about this or pulling my leg.

But if you are, we can probably send you loads of stuff like this we've mothballed over the years because it was unpublishable. Seriously, just take it

>> No.3363023 [View]

>>3363006
oh shit now you've caught me. Checking the email while putting off the actual work involved for tomorrow. Gulp

You have not fucked anything up, we just don't consider publishing more than 3 submissions per issue. But I wouldn't worry much since we can split things up over multiple releases if need be

>>3362699
considering I've not heard from you, I can only assume you've decided against the offer. Fair enough, I still think you're suggesting a pretty good idea and we'll try and do our best to mold something like it

organizing is good enough. Often it feels like I don't have enough time to do even the rudimentary work involved in management, so having someone new with a sense of purpose and ability to execute it would help tremendously here.

Email us if you're interested and we can try and set things up.

Please do. Despite all the talk of changes the real work is still mostly meat-and-potatoes. Discussion just makes the work more fun to do
