If you ask questions like this, then there's going to be a Frodo for every single verse.

You may or may not be born with a sexual desire, but you choose to follow through with that desire.

Was it just me or did I think that was a Jew nose at first? Also, nice Buddhist words, but here's something that will blow your mind:

>One hand clapping
KABOOM! MIND=BLOWN!

Good choice, but I would have to go with one of Tao Lin's works. No offence to Mr. Dick, but Tao Lin is a master of literary expression and storytelling.

It was (first orally recited and then) written down thousands of years ago by an Ancient Greek for an Ancient Greek society. What did you think it was going to be? An episode of Family Guy?

It's a complex work meant for Jewish Philosophers.*
I think it's time for me to go to bed.

Because it's for complex Jewish philosophers. Most of it wouldn't make much sense without a good knowledge of Jewish literature. Although I guess you might appreciate his commentary on Aristotle and his extension of Aristotelian thought.

Not really. /ck/ often drops cooking books, and they'd probably have some good books on food for you. It's probably not very likely that someone here will be able to help though.

The narrative in the Tanakh doesn't explain it good enough. You see, it wasn't actually a slingshot, it was a DESERT EAGLE branded Desert Eagle and David basically pulled off a flicker shot by jumping off Mt. Sinai and landing straight into the Land of Israel and getting that sick no scope 9000+ 360 spin head shot.

I'm sick,
I'll shoot you on a lick,
Don't be jelly, bitches get on my dick.
I don't care if you're mad,
Because I lost the ability to rhyme.

Any classical comedy. Read some of the Victorian classical comedic plays like "The Importance of Being Earnest."

>Like, something that starts out kind of in the middle, gets depressing, but at the end, leaves you feeling really good about life?
Every Shakespearian comedy ever.

Mitzrayim is a land we cannot live in permanently,
For reasons of their immorality,
And because such an action would be contradictory,
To what G-d had done for the 12 small tribes.

Yet how is the land in present day?
Such a question seems unnecessary,
And yet every unsolved query is a burden that I carry.
That's why I wish to explore this moment's thought.

The land gives fair bounty for its kind,
Its weather and the Nile combine for a nice find,
Mitzrayim remains for the most part as it was previously defined,
The landscape remains unchanged.

However, a revolution has occurred spiritually,
Mitzrayim's people have thrown away idolatry,
And they've traded in their idols to praise His name daily,
But I still cannot live there.

The people have changed and that is all fine,
But G-d has still commanded me to stay outside of its borders line.
I mustn't forget what He did for us with powers divine,
I must remember that this land is theirs, not mine.

What a simple and stupid poem I wrote. I always suck at writing poems.

This is a thread about religious books and the title gives insight about who I am and thus it adds some depth to what I'm saying. There's no particular reason to trip outside of this thread, and it looks like you're got the grumps. Adio~

He just seems generally butthurt. It's almost as if he cut his ass on some broken glass or something. If he's in mental pain, I'll just dip out of this thread seeing as its original purpose is long gone.
