i read camus and hesse in highschool and i also read the iliad in the same timeframe; all recommended by my high school teacher. something tells me you'd like it just as much.

what's wrong with The Castle? it seems to be the same experience to me as The Trial. beginning is interesting, for a few chapters its boring and i dont get it, then everything comes together by the middle. what makes it so hard to get into?

so /lit/, i've been a decent spanish speaker all my life but i feel like i need some literature to brush up on it. I dont know much about spanish literature. can anyone recommend a good classic that isnt too daunting for someone whose first language is english?

i once read a john green book because i heard good things about the dialogue style on here. will grayson was pretty good. it was nice to not read something "serious" for once, between reading notes from underground and the iliad.
