I'd say it depends on the chick, but to me that's pretty bad. If she enjoys reading perhaps you can expand upon that and get her interested in more things. Just depends on her.

If you're seriously into it, go for Necronomicon. If you're just vague interested in it, find any book with some short stories in a bookstore and go with it.

Perhaps other anons can provide you with specific stories to check out. I haven't read enough Lovecraft to recommend specific short stories.

I'd never waste my time reading him, but I've never tried, so I can't say from experience that he's bad. Just not something I'm interested in.

Kind of enjoy the movies based on his books though.

Also 3G is worth it if you plan to hack it and use it to go on the internet. If not, you have to decide if you need it. It's not that hard to find wifi hotspots unless you live in the middle of nowhere.

I'm not a fan, but they're good if you spend a lot of time driving or exercise 30+ minutes a day. I wouldn't "read" serious literature in this way.
